About the course

Highlight of this talk

We aim to present primary care perspectives on people with post COVID difficulties; ranging from PTSD as a consequence of ITU to increased suicidality as a result of social isolation and stigma.

The session will consist primarily of patient focussed practical suggestions for identification of people in difficulty and primary care interventions.

By the end of the session, we intend for GPs to have a greater awareness of the evolving impact of COVID on different groups, from directly affected by the virus to the consequences of lockdown, and have strategies to support and signpost individuals in their practice.
